About
Why come hereThe Yonsei University campus is known for its beautiful architecture and often appears in movies and dramas. It's a vast campus, requiring at least a 2km walk to explore fully, making it the second-largest university campus in Seoul. Near the main gate, you’ll find mostly modern buildings. Still, behind the statue of Underwood, the founder of Yonsei's predecessor, Yonhi College (1859-1916), lie historic structures like Underwood Hall, which reflect Korea's modern history. The campus also features numerous memorials, such as the Yun Dong-ju Monument and Han Yeol Hill, honoring individuals who have contributed to Yonsei's legacy.
