SeMA Omnibus : Planet Nine

The Seoul Museum of Art will present “SeMA Omnibus: Planet Nine” at the Nam Seoul Museum of Art from July 31 to October 27. SeMA Omnibus is a large-scale exhibition of the museum’s collection that explores the institution’s 2024 theme, "Connection," from various perspectives through an omnibus format. Between July and August, the exhibition will open sequentially across four locations, including the main and branch museums. As the first installment of SeMA Omnibus, Planet Nine focuses on non-human entities embedded in contemporary art, inviting visitors to explore planetary thinking beyond human-centered perspectives. The exhibition contemplates the possibility of coexistence between diverse beings, depicting rich connections between humans and non-humans. Visitors are invited to a journey to the solar system's ninth planet, a world filled with new possibilities.
