Special Exhibition of Contemporary Crafts 《Material–Practice》

The participating artists restore “discarded objects” as materials, experiment with production methods reliant on “nature’s circulation systems,” and explore the compatibility between “matter and information.” Through their ways and attitudes of working with materials, this exhibition senses the future practices of craft, showing that craft techniques are not limited to manual skills but expand into creative sensibilities and critical practices that correspond with the world. Organized into sections such as Reconstruction of Ash, Primitive Creation, and Flowing Matter, the exhibition invites visitors to explore contemporary craft and its future possibilities.
