Dream Handmade(Yoo Hongsik) has been making shoes for over 60 years, starting at the age of 12, and is famous for making shoes for presidents. In 2014, he was selected as the No. 1 shoemaker in Seoul from a strong field of candidates. Yoo's specialty is his "special gabo technique," which he applies to the way he makes shoes, using the same techniques his ancestors used to make straw shoes. Nowadays, it is difficult to find people with this skill.
