Hwangtae Bonga

Hwangtae Bonga is famous for dishes made with hwangtae (dried pollack). The most popular items on the menu are hwangtae-gui (grilled dried pollack), hwang taeguk (dried pollack soup), and siraegit guk (dried radish soup). To make the scrumptious hwangtae-gui,dried pollack is marinated in red chili paste for about a day, grilled, and served appetizingly garnished with sliced green onion and sesame seeds. The hwangtae-gui set menu comes with a variety of tantalizing side dishes, like ojingeo muchim (squid andvegetables) and myeolchi bokkeum (fried anchovies).
