Gangseomyeonok

The noodles from Gangseomyeonok are famous in part because they were served to representatives of North Korea at the time of the South Korea-North Korea Red Cross Conference. This restaurant has successfully carried on the tradition of Pyeongyang noodles for over 50 years. Domestic buckwheat from Gangwon-do Province is mixed with starch to make the delicious noodles, and the broth is made from beef brisket and white radish kimchi for a light and refreshing savory flavor.
