Namhangang Maeuntang

A restaurant famous for their maeuntang ( a spicy fish stew cooked with freshly caught catfish, Mandarin fish, and freshwater fish) in Gangdong-gu, Namhangang Maeuntang uses fish caught by fishermen in Gyeonggi-do, Yanggu and Gangwondo, Yangpeong to make their refreshingly spicy fish stew. Using a special seasoning made together with a food engineering professor in Korea National University of Transportation, the restaurant offers a special type of Mauentang that will not only prevent illness, but offers a tasty fish stew for visitors who love to eat fish.
